I cannot recommend the new version, adware. This is an old version, no idea if works on windows 7+.
use pidgin instead.
Setup will tell you all you need to know. You'll need your usernames and passwords for each account. It lists your contacts together, different colors signify with which account the friend or buddy is associated.
