Comments: the best file manager around. No longer supported by the author, however I have found no bugs or faults. This will do everything explorer can do but better and faster. Much more configurable than explorer, and also this program is very small. Please don't bother the author as he has made it very clear he doesn't support this tool any longer. The explorer2 he advertises on his website is much inferior in my opinion. Too big and commercialized and offers no useful features 2xexplorer doesn't already have.

Tested on windows 7 home premium and it works fine.
This product will seamlessly replace your ms file explorer. Use norton commander? It's fine but huge and with a large number of features you probably do not need. FTP? Do you really need to wait while your file explorer AND FTP load up just to look at that picture from your camera?
ctrl-shift-7 will save your layout...I use one for a minimum file viewer with only one pane showing, and then I set ctrl-shift-8 to a full sized layout with both panes showing.
check out the included txt files for hints..
Its very agile and very small (almost as small as the bare bones explorer)
Icon bars for all your most useful tasks... bookmarks... twin panes (either vertical or horizontal)
Separate into multiple windows for ease of multi-file viewing.
I have used this product for more than a year and I have found no flaws, no bugs and am more impressed each time I use it. Enjoy!
